DESCRIPTION:The third Friday of September is the usual observance of “National POW/MIA Recognition Day”. Foxborough’s first observance of the day was held in 2011. \nThis year\, there will be a 24-hour vigil at the Foxborough Senior Center (75 Central Street) beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday\, September 15\, 2023. \nAt 4:00 p.m.\, on Saturday\, September 16\, 2023\, there will be a ceremony on the common in downtown Foxborough in tribute to all POW*MIA’s.
